Pakistani Batsman Mohammad Yousuf has been recalled back in the 16 man squad to play in the five one day internationals and two Twenty 20 matches against England.
Yousuf announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket in March 2010; just days after the Pakistan Cricket Board placed an indefinite ban on him. The board believed that Yousuf along with his teammate Younis were to blame for spreading infighting and indiscipline within the team after Pakistan’s disastrous tour of Australia where they failed to win a single match.
Yousuf was called back into Test team after Pakistan lost the first match against England. He did not play in the second match because of tiredness and the third test saw him score 56 against England, before he became Graeme Swanns 100th wicket.
Shoaib Malik, who has featured in the Pakistan limited overs side for a number of years, has not been included in the squad. Malik has been in poor form during this Test Series and has already been dropped from the side for the third test.Over the last 12 months Malik has only averaged 30, with only one score above 50.
The fourth test against England starts on Thursday at Lords.
