As a versatile and intelligent batsman, Malik is a player who adapts to the game he is playing. However, with an international T20 average of over 30 at a strike rate of 118, and an ODI average of over 35, he is no stranger to scoring at pace, frequently slogging balls out of the park and sending the crowds into a frenzy.
During the recent ICC match between Pakistan and India, Malik stole the show. Watched by an estimated 1 billion people across the globe, Malik hit a sensational 128 runs at over a run a ball, driving Pakistan to a strong total of 302, which ultimately proved too tough for the Indian batting line up.
