    Onions Replaces Flintoff

Woodworm sponsored Graham Onions has replaced all rounder Andrew Flintoff in the Champions Trophy. He will representing England in South Africa and hoping to have some of the Ashes success.

Onions has not played in a one day international  and has been called into the squad for the NatWest Series against Australia. The Durham paceman will be representing the Worm and is eagerly anticipating the event.

He will join the squad ahead of the third ODI on Wednesday.  Flintoff has had to drop out due a reoccurring knee injury. He will miss the champions trophy running from 22 September to 5th October.

Flintoff has been suffering with deep vein thrombosis in his right calf following knee surgery at the end of the Ashes. He is looking to be away from cricket a minimum of six months.

Graham Onions has had a fantastic season so far and made his Test debut in May against the West Indies at Lords.
He stepped up to the mark with the Worm and took 5-38 including a dramatic spell of four wickets in seven balls. He later played in three of the five Ashes but unfortunately was left out for Flintoff for his return at the Oval finale.
Onions will be proudly wearing Woodworm Pro Series equipment ready for the upcoming matches.
